Utopia

Just finish reading this book. Marvellous masterpiece by Sir Thomas More.

It's quite staggerring that a book written 500 years ago (in Latin) can have such futuristic views that it seems to be unimaginable even in today.

By the way, Thomas More's intention was unlike Socrates' which describes a truly practical and ideal society, taking everything into account. Rather, More intends to invite the reader to think out of the box, think of strange and unorthodox ideas that may be better.

For instance, he described the people in Utopia lived by sharing everything, something which communism have in common. Such ideas were peculiar at the time of writing, but it carries out More's intention very clearly.
